Green Threads & Beats | A Branding Session

Yesterday marked a really special milestone for me. After months of dreaming, planning, and listening to that quiet nudge in my gut, I officially stepped into a new chapter of my business by offering branding sessions for small businesses. And I could not have asked for a better first experience.

I spent the afternoon inside Green Threads & Beats, a vintage clothing store in Hilliard, Ohio, and from the moment I walked through the door, I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be. The shop is layered with texture, color, history, and soul. Every rack, record, and corner feels intentional. It is not just a store. It is an extension of the people who built it.

The owners welcomed me in like an old friend. We laughed, talked, moved things around, chased the light, and let the space guide us. There was no stiff posing, no forced moments. Just real energy, natural connection, and a whole lot of fun. We captured them in their element, doing what they love, in a place that reflects who they are.

That is what branding photography is all about to me. It is not about perfection. It is about story. It is about showing the heart behind the business. The passion. The personality. The why.

This session reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. I want to tell stories. I want to highlight people who pour themselves into what they do. I want to help small businesses show up in a way that feels authentic and true.

Green Threads & Beats gave me the most perfect start, and I am so grateful they trusted me with their story.

More of this, please.
