Open Skies & Playful Passes

Some families bring a spark with them wherever they go, and this crew is exactly that. They have been in front of my lens for the past couple of years, and every session feels like a fresh chapter filled with connection, movement, and so much heart. Being with them always feels easy, natural, and full of joy.

This time, we stepped away from my usual open fields and golden light and tried something a little unexpected. We met on top of a parking garage. Open sky. Clean lines. Room to run. It gave us the freedom to play and let their personalities lead.

We tossed around a football, laughed between throws, and leaned into what makes this family them. Football is more than a sport in their world. It is togetherness. It is tradition. It is how they connect. Watching them move in rhythm, cheer each other on, and simply be in the moment was where the magic lived.

This session was a reminder that family photos do not have to fit a mold. They can be playful. They can be different. They can reflect the little things that make your family feel like home. Whether it is a football, an open sky, or the way you naturally fall together, your story deserves to be told exactly as it is.
